As you know a divorce can be very hard to go through for some people. It will seem like your family is coming apart at the seams, and also there are a lot of feelings that will at times overwhelm you.
Here are some suggestions to help you get through a very trying time. One thing that you will find to be very important is your immediate family and your very closest friends, you will find their support to be invaluable there will be times that you feel like your whole world is in on you and you will depend on your family and friends to help you through the very tough times ahead.
One of the biggest emotions you will encounter is depression, there will be
times that you will feel like what is
the point, have I done the wrong thing?
One thing that is very important is do
not be afraid to talk you must learn to
talk about your feelings regarding the
divorce in order to be able to heal and
move on.
If there are children involved you do
not want to have your depression take
over as this will have a very negative
impact on your children. It will become
very important for you to get involved
with your children and do everything
that you can to work through the
feelings of the divorce there will be
feeling such as abandonment, depression,
a lack of self worth.
One thing you
should always consider is the option of
seeking counseling together to help ease
the strain of dealing with the feelings
of hurt, anger, and lack of self worth
that a divorce often leaves behind.
