Sound and Fury and The Mathematical Theory of Energy Determinants
For those who study efficiency modeling in manufacturing, computer processes, military logistic strategies or sports we know that energy should be treated as a precious commodity, no matter how much you have. Now then, if wasting energy is bad then why do so many people participate in the sound and fury of mankind?
Obviously they are wasting their own human energy towards irrelevant causes that are incited by mass media hysteria. The theory of mathematical energy determinants is best stated by Howard Scott;

And although it is not generally apply to human beings and their endeavors perhaps we might take a look at in this regard. Just because these mathematical theories are for processes and such is no reason we cannot apply this to the human social animal as well.
Formerly I was a mile runner in high school and college and one thing you learn very quickly is to make sure every motion is as efficient as possible, you can not waste energy. If you do you will be past in the last 100 meters by someone who has more wisely and efficiently used their energy through out the last 4 minutes.
In the observance of humans it appears that they often get all worked up and cause themselves stress over much about nothing. The significance of their sound and fury is nil and yet they spend and waste hoards of energy over ridiculous concocted issues that they are told are relevant, although we all know they are not. I hope this philosophical thought was fun to contemplate in 2007.

Randomness of Human Thought
Random thought Sequence in the Human Mind. I want to comment on an article about Random Sequence in the Mathematical Association of America Newsletter in January 2002. A lot of philosophical talk has been spent over these notions and many have tried to put a specific analytical answer to the question. Even Bill Gates loves to play cards probably du...
Studying Maps Changes the Way You Think
For those who are pilots I am sure your thoughts and the way you see life is different. I know my mind works differently. I also believe that those who study maps also think differently; they see things from a totally different perspective.Almost as if from beyond the average man; almost as if a god looking down on civilization and society and cons...

Divorce, Marriage and the Sanctity of It All
There seems to be a debate brewing and the sound and fury is indeed loud and clear. The Gay and Lesbian Community want their rights to get married. Some say this could lead to divorce amongst straight people, although that is probably not going to happen. But there is a number of people very worried about the sanctity of marriage in America and ano...

Autism Research
Autism research has covered many areas but until now has not yet found a complete explanation for all aspects of autism. Several aspects however can be explained by three major theories:1. Theory of Mind (TOM) explains the impairment of social interaction
2. Central Coherence (CC) explains the focus on details
3. Executive Function (EF) explain...
